Debt Collection

If you have loaned money via oral agreement, contractual obligation, or promissory note, there are certain remedies available to you through Court to make good on those agreements.  The first step for debt collection is to obtain a judgement against the debtor, and then once you have a judgement, you can take enforcement measures, which include garnishing wages, garnishing bank accounts, obtaining an Execution Certificate, writ of possession, or seizure and sale.

For debt collection cases, matters are pursued in Court.  If a debtor has failed on the basic obligations to make payment in full, or follow some sort of payment plan, the Court is the best recourse in order to enforce any contractual obligations.
